When you think of audio production studios, you might not first think of project management. That’s because many studios simply record your audio but don’t provide any project management services. At AudioLink, we know that it is vital for us to be on top of every phase of a project, from the moment we sign a contract until the last audio file is
delivered. That’s why we offer the following services:
Script Preparation
Anyone who has ever managed a large audio project—or even a smaller one with multiple voice actors—knows that script preparation is an essential part of the process. A well-prepared script saves time in audio production studios, from recording through post production. You may want to prepare your script yourself. If not, we will prepare it, which may involve assigning actors to various paragraphs or color-coding different characters. Colored highlighters are still as useful a tool to us as are our state-of-the-art computers!
Quality Control
Sound post production can only be ensured through sound quality control. We always double check the quality of all audio files and confirm all file names against your script. In this way, we make sure that our deliverables can be dropped into your application worry-free.
Delivery and Archiving
FTP and email are our normal methods of delivery. For small jobs, audio is delivered the same day as recording sessions whenever possible. Turnaround time on larger projects is a matter of days, not weeks. Unlike many other audio production studios, we also maintain archives of all unedited and edited files. Even when a client returns years after a project is completed (which happens more often than you might think), we can quickly retrieve their former audio files so that we can match them to any new recordings.
Revisions and Pickups
It’s common for clients to ask for changes or additions to their audio—and often at the last minute. Generally there is little time at this stage of the process to wait. We consider ourselves your partners during all phases of production, and what good partner would not be eager to help out when the need is greatest? That’s why we pride ourselves on our ability to jump through hoops to get you the revisions and pickups you need quickly, efficiently, and affordably.
