COMPANY NEWS
Studio Expansion:
We've recently added our third studio and
our fourth edit suite, due to our larger staff. This
translates to the ability to do more work in less time!
Post-production
efficiency/lower costs: Due to new
systems, combining automated and manual processes, we
have cut the ratio of post-production time to recording time
in half in recent years. Combined with holding our rates
steady this has resulted in lower costs to our clients.
AudioLink V4:
You're looking at it now. Our first website
was in 1999, this is our fourth site, the first redesign since
2003.
ItSpeaks Trademark:
In addition to our long time Trademark on
the AudioLink name we recently were granted a full Trademark
on ItSpeaks as well.
RECENT PROJECTS
Skillsoft: We are just
finishing up the audio production for 133 business skills courses using
7 different narrators and over a dozen different character actors. The
courses combine narration and simulated dialogue and cover a wide range
of soft skills topics.
National Geographic School
Publishers - Hampton Brown: After our successful work last
year on their High School Project we are in the midst of producing the
audio for their Middle School Readers project. This exciting series
uses a large multi-ethnic cast reading dozens of fiction and
non-fiction pieces, supplemented by a very large amount of Instructional
Support narration.
Globalinguist's WordChamp: Dozens of languages and over 200,000 audio files for this challenging
language product. Can you understand "Tagalog" or "Pashtu"? We can't! But we can record and edit
in those and many other languages!
Fedex and Fedex
Kinkos: For many years we have been the principal production
facility for Fedex Services IVR system. When you call to schedule a
pickup it's the voice of Jill Jacobs recorded here at AudioLink. We
are just about to begin production for over 2,300 Fedex Kinkos store's
phone systems.
National Geographic School
Publishing: We are just beginning our second large Spanish
educational project for them, utilizing 4 of the area's top Spanish Voice
talent.
Journal Watch Audio: For
over a dozen years we have had the honor of hosting two of the nation's
top physicians recording the "Top Ten Stories in Medicine" for the
previous year. This CD is distributed nationwide to subscribers of
Journal Watch Audio.
Harvard Risk Management: Another ongoing medical audio CD series distributed to
doctors nationwide.
Nobel Peace Prize Museum: Engineer Charles Matthews did extensive sound design and
mixing for a series of videos playing in Sweden in this highly
acclaimed museum.
